THE WORK.

We don't use vague “premium” or “eco” labels. Here is exactly what our products are made of, where they come from, and how we verify it.

// WHY_360GSM

Most branded apparel uses 160–180gsm jersey. It's cheap to produce, prints acceptably, and falls apart after a year of washing. That's fine if your merch is disposable.

ByteWear tees and hoodies start at 360gsm — more than double the industry default. At that weight, the fabric holds its shape, the print survives hundreds of washes without cracking, and the garment lasts years rather than months.

Heavier cotton also means less synthetic blend, which means the garment is recyclable through standard textile streams. Higher quality and better end-of-life story.

PRINT_ON_DEMAND

We use print-on-demand production. Items are made when ordered — no overstock, no warehouse full of unsold product, no waste from forecasting errors. The model is less efficient at scale but more responsible at launch.
